The Cobb County Resource Council will be hosting the annual DOT Hazmat Transportation Course will be held (TBA).  This course will be offered free to all paid members of the Resource Council.  As many people from your company/organization may attend the course.

The class is for anyone that ships or receives hazardous materials.  DOT requires that anyone involved in the transportation of hazardous materials (clerks, warehouse personnel, driver, supervisors, etc.) be trained in the DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations. The main topics the course covers are general knowledge, placards, awareness, packaging, papers, labeling, safety and security, and the ERG. This class will cover the IATA regulations also.  Each participant will receive a training manual and the new ERG provided they arrive before the class.  and upon successful completion of the course a Certificate of Completion.  This training satisfies the training requirement of every 3 years for both first time and recertification.  At the end of class certificates of completion will be issued.
